Welcome to my blog!  My name is Jaysen Johnson, I consider myself an awesome person and most of the people who really know me would say the same.  To describe me in a nutshell would be that I am a very kind person who lives to serve in my community and help others in times of need and crisis.  I’m the type of person who would give you the shirt off my back if you needed it. Friends and neighbors would say I am a great listener and would be there to help you at a moments notice.

I grew up in a single parent home in the small Central Oregon town of Madras.  My father was a Paramedic and a hero in my book, a true public servant.  Not once did he complain about anything in life, he was a quiet man but when he spoke he was serious and people listened.  I enjoyed helping him around the station and watching him save lives day after day.  His life inspired me to become an EMT in 2003, I volunteered for several stations and summer camps until 2008 when I decided to pursue a career in the computer field.  I’ve always enjoyed working with computers since my father introduced me to them at two years old.  He’d write computer programs for me in BASIC, I grew up teaching myself everything I know about computers, learning to repair and provide support to others.  He did the very best that he could to raise my brother and I, teaching us that we had to work for everything that we wanted.  We never had much for possessions growing up but we were far from poor.  We learned responsibility and to value everything we have in life.  Sadly, his life was cut short after a 6 1/2 year long battle with kidney and brain cancer took him from us on May 27th, 2010 at age 59.
